The English alphabet consists of twenty-one consonants and five vowels. The alphabet is a really important part of the English language used frequently to spell names, streets, cities, etc.

PHONOLOGY

Phonology or the study of sounds is really important before we start to study a language. In the English language is not only important to know the alphabet but also to be able to distinguish the sounds. This is because English cannot be read as it is written.
